As of today, the platform is under about 1 inch of water and the spring is pumping pretty good, getting clear.
There is however a lot of work that needs to be done to the park before it opens.
Projected date to open is June 1

Welcome to DEP Mike. We'll come to see you as soon as your open for diving, but we'll miss you here in Luraville.
Janet :D
Thank you Janet, I'm excited to be a part of the team :D I'll still be at least a part time "Tank Monkey" for Cathy for a little longer anyway. Looking forward to seeing all "the regulars" at the dive shop once the Luraville area springa clear and I will be sure to see you at Peacock on my day off!Quote:

Scott and I have been waiting with bated breath for Madison to be back in the regular dive plans.
Will our annual park passes be honored there or is there going to be an extra fee like before?
Looking forward to diving Madison again.

That is what really gripes my A$$ is when they sell you a pass and still charge. I hate that when you go to troy you have the pass but still have to pay $10.00 to dive. I call bull$hit

Thanks Mike.
We can't wait to go diving again.... I have a job interview on Monday, wish me luck.
Dive safe.
Celia
I know Madison charges due to the mangaement but the last time I was at Troy they did not charge extra if you had a park pass. I hope it has not changed.Quote:

Purchase the state park pass @ the park that you frequent the most. If you purchase it online, 100% of the funds go to Homosassa Springs. None of it goes to any of the other parks. Which seems wrong to me.Quote:
