I have often wondered why their is not a more centralized Library of cave maps.
I find line in systems but they don't exist on a map.
I'm assuming that we are guarding our leads.

Your assumption is the main reason...
Some of the "unmapped" passages in popular systems are unmapped because they were too small to survey at the time or because the divers who laid the line were too lazy to go back and survey.
I have quite a few. The motivation for the Cave Diving Museum and library was to share info. See www.overheadtimes.com Mike Poucher collects many for the CDS. The Florida Cave Survey has several hundred. No one is hiding leads. No one is going to hand them to you either. Groups like the Florida Cave Survey shares with their member but you have to be nominated and be a proven explorer. If you have a cave you are working that you want to know more about you can contact me and I will either share the map or find out something about the cave for you. Don't worry, I have all I need to dive.
