CDF Social Director needed!

Our venerable social director, Bob K, had to drop out because of work. We need someone to step in. The duties will include coordinating things with Ginnie Springs (the pavilion is reserved) such as getting the ice, grills, and other things to the pavilion the morning of July 3; procuring donations for door prizes from dive shops, training agencies, etc.; and maintaining a list of what people will bring. We will be doing the "what can you bring" method, since that was the best and easiest method we've had yet. Here is a link to LAST YEAR'S list, so you'll know what we do:

SOMEBODY PLEASE VOLUNTEER!!!!!

Does that mean that I can make up new and exciting contests for the social such as:

1 - Naked Scooter Racing
2 - Cave Diver Wrestling - Similar to calf wrestling, you have to toss a loop of #24 line around a running cave diver, throw them to the ground, and tie their feet together. Fastest time wins.
3 - DIR vs non DIR tug of war - tug of war while wearing full cave gear, winners get to ridicule the others equipment
4 - Cave Diver obstacle course - We rig the gallery at Devils with as many line traps, dead ends, misplaced arrows, multiple lines, and assorted loose pieces of line dangling around, the contestants swim to the lips, we take their masks and lights, and they have to get out. Winners get to keep breathing.
5 - Body Hair Topiary - The first person that can sculpt a relief of Sheck Exley out of their bodily hair wins, open to both men and women. Forrest gets a 2 minute penalty for unfair advantage, Caver 95 excluded, just too damn hairy.

Yes, the Social Director has complete reign.

I am not sure about this, but IF I were to be social director, and that is a big IF, there are certain conditions that everyone must agree on such as:

Feathered merkin's to be worn by everyone at all times. No one allowed without their merkin!

A more broad based menu than the usual must be adopted that includes squid-kabobs, Kimchi, Chinese crickets on a stick, and a good assortment of genuine imported Balot's.

Only Agave based beverages to be served, including beers. Jones blue bubblegum soda acceptable.

Door prizes to be awarded to include-
Gift Certificates to the cafe risque along with a large bottle of Pepto.
Snorkels
Autographed photo's of Pee Wee Herman
and for the Grand Prize, a visit to a rehab clinic with Amy Winehouse as your guide.

Hey! How about cave diver mud wrestling?? Or silt wrestling? You can schedule this event right after the naked scooter races and make it naked, too!!
