Eagle's Nest 4-11-10

Viz varied, but averaged about 20', no current :roll:
Head pool had a lot of dead algae clumps, which stuck to everything. Viz in the headpool was only about 5'.

We had a nice scooter dive, went almost to EOL upstream in under 10 minutes. Had a nice warm, dry, deco in my new Black Ice drysuit ;)

You had 20 ft of vis for the whole dive? did you go upstream or down and about how far?

Crappy viz for the Nest.....looks like the summer heat has brewed up the algae in the basin early!
We never had a spring here (Tampa area)...went from COLD winter to HOT in 10 days or so!

Hell would have to freeze over first :roll:

I was still using some of it, the stage and travel gas regs were 1974 Cyklons, and my sidemount tanks are 1977 PSTs :-)

I think this algae was from last summer, mostly brown now, sticks to everything.
