copyright question about cave sign

I would like to know who have the legal propriety of the cave sign that we see everywhere.

It's for a exploration project that I have.

I may be wrong, but I believe that particular print is from the NSS-CDS. I would contact them to see if there are any restrictions on duplication of use.

Well, I don't know if the sign originated with the NSS-CDS, but you can certainly buy them from the NSS-CDS. So if you have a system in mind where one needs to be placed, they are readily available.

The copyright is held jointly by NSS-CDS, NACD and PADI (as shown on the sign). The NSS-CDS is your best source for the signs.

As others have said, the NSS-CDS sells them. I bought one recently off their website. It's huge (almost 1.5ft by 2ft).

I would expect either the NSSCDS or NACD would gladly donate a proper sign to any cave.

It's part of the safety mission donating signs and gold line....
