Helmets
I found three of the old petzel caving/climbing helmets at a local outdoor shop. No foam, adjustable straps/head bands. The newer helmets now have styrofoam in them. These older ones are nice for cave diving. I can purchase them and ship them anywhere in conusa for $120.00. I'll try to post pictures in the next day or two. one white, one red, one yellow. they all have those little triangle things handy for keeping head-banded lights on and allow easy removal. all have holes for using cable ties to hold lights on. One helmet (older, dustier) has those clips and bungee for the caving lights...those ones with a flame, but that can be removed easily.
Pm if interested. If I can get all three at once, I may be able to reduce the price by 10 or 20 dollars.
Jason informed me that Petzel still makes the helmets and they are available much cheaper at this site: http://www.e-omc.com/catalog/product...-EcrinRoc.html. Guess the local outdoor shop is a bit overpriced (although the boxes are covered in dust).

They do make several different models now, some more like bike helmets, the roc is the one you would want for caving.
And those are the *new* roc's, the old ones have round vent holes in the helmet and a bungee holder on either end. Not so good for wet stuff because they have metal fittings in them, and no quick adjust. No metal in the new ones.
Are you saying $120 shipped for 3 helmets? $40 each in newish shape is a decent price.
They come up fairly regularly on Ebay too.
