All the pony bottles I have seen with doubles were used for suit inflation.

Same here. They certainlly wouldn't be very useful as ememgency gas, unless you were very close to the entrance.Quote:

Agreed. My "pony bottle" is an argon tank for dry suit inflation. Any other tank carried would be a stage tank - something as small as what I would consider to be a pony bottle is too small to be useful for emergency or regular gas planning. The smallest tank I use for breathing is a 40 cuft for deco on O2.
