Peacock Springs and Lafayette Blue

Was driving by Peacock Springs and Lafayette Blue today and took a few pictures. I have dived in both systems many times when it was worse. Its certainly has some tannic water in it, but getting clearer every day.

Peacock looks great...wonder why the line committee hasen't opened it up yet?

We ocean diving in Venice that day... We leaving NFL on the 19th though... and could come back the 21st...

Maybe....
1)I understand Orange Grove doesn't look real good yet.
2) Line assessment needs to be done
3) There are other levels ie cavern,and intro that access the system that need the minimums.
4) Water looks different from in the cave than looking down from some steps in direct sun light

but I'm with you,and hope it will clear up and open soon.

What about LR????

Is Lafayette open for diving?

The gates were locked at LR on Sunday so we didn't get to see it. Maybe someone else has been in to take a look recently. :smt102

A test dive is scheduled for Saturday at Peacock.
