Just read Diving into Darkness by Philip Finch. ( the David Shaw story) At the beginning of one of the chapters, he describes a water-filled cave "in western Missouri" where the entrance is a narrow tunnel that must be entered head first and turning around is not possible until you have reached a depth of approximately 120 feet. Does anyone know which cave this is? thanks Darren

That Blue Springs you saw video of is in AR and yes you cant turn around until you have gotten to 90 fet or more. It is a TIGHT cave.

Thanks for the info, guys. I believe I saw some pictures and info on Blue Springs on the OCDA website. Think it said that the OCDA was not actively diving that sight at this time and that the diving was by permit only. Anyone know the procedure for obtaining such a permit? Darren

Yup there are 2 Blue Sprins, one in MO near KCMO and the one in AR that the video is of. The OCDA have not been or have anything to do with the Blue Springs in AR.

Blue spring is not the spring in the book. It was a virgin system when we shot the vidio
