Spool left in Peacock I

I left a spool at the jump from the Crossover Tunnel to the Dark Water Tunnel today. If anyone would be so kind as to pull it and let me know where I could pick it up, I would very much appreciate it. It has initials "CVW" or maybe just "CW" on it.

Did you get all the way through? Was wondering if line still broke on Pothole side?

Yes, we got all the way through. The line is old, loose and burried in spots, but continuous all the way to where it ends sort of "above" the Pothole line. There was considerable cold, tannic water in a couple of spots, which is why it named "Dark Water", I suppose.

Speaking of lines, before doing the DW tunnel, we looked for passages that the map shows in the "NW" part of the cave, probably in the 1300-1600' area off of the Peanut line. We found some passages, but none had lines. Have the lines been removed or are they just really far back in the passage? I'm guessing these are low, silty types of passages and maybe someone decided that the jumps shouldn't be obvious. Right?

there's line back there. or at least there was
it's unmarked and as I recall back a ways and not really obvious

Will have to clean all of the line poofies off of it too. (like the flood last year...goopy stuff on the lines)

Did several dives back there a year ago and yes, there are lines back there but some take a bit of looking for. There are also several unmarked jumps between Challenge and Olsen that are fun to do. We usually stage to get back there so we could have more time to explore and poke around. None of these passages get used much so the lines are often sort of loose and in the silt and it gets "dusty" real quick. Of course that is part of the fun.
