    Mine's my last name - there are several Mikes among our friends, so we've been calling each other by our last names for many years. When I first signed onto the CDF, I typed it in all caps by mistake, so there it is.

    Do you pronounce it with or without the umlaut? (Sorry to misspell it - being more or less computer illiterate I can't find the umlaut!)

    Like Shawn above, I was once employed as a rotorhead, hence the fly. czek is a portion of my last name. Someone once called my the flying Czek and I thought it was kind of clever.

    Sludge with the umlaut sounds stickier, slipperier, and oozier than plain old sludge.

    Mine is from back in high school when I played lacrosse. The stick I used was made from scandium (sc) the head was was called the blade, and my number was 27. I have been too lazy over the past several years to think of a new one.
