Talking Volunteers Needed for 2008 NSS-CDS Mini-Workshop in Lake City

    Hi folks!
It's almost time for the 2008 NSS Convention AND the 2008 NSS-CDS Mini-Workshop in Lake City.

    http://nsscdsworkshop.org/MiniWorkshop2008/

We need a couple of folks to help out. We're going to have a blast, both at the conference, and behind the scenes! If you don't see anything on the list that appeals to you, shoot me a message and we'll find something for you!

    The list:

Position filled - Kelly Jessop - The Maestro - This person will work with the emcee, the speakers, the A/V Guru, the Foodie Master, and me to keep us on schedule and on track.

Foodie Master - We're having boxed lunches provided by a caterer. The Foodie Master will coordinate with the caterer concerning delivery/pickup of the lunches, as well distribution of the lunches and drinks. Someone that could arrange for a donuts/coffee sponsor would be great as well!

A/V Guru - We'll have an expert around to answer your questions, but we need someone to take charge of making sure the speakers have everything they need, and it's all connected, for their talks (hooking laptops into the projector, microphones properly positioned, etc).

Registration Table Swami - The Swami will take charge of the registration table, hopefully rounding up some partners-in-crime to assist. The Swami will manage registering folks that have signed up in advance, as well as on-site registrations.

Registration Table Swami Assistants - See above.

Position filled - Cindy Butler - Agenda Chieftain - We need a simple, neat, clear agenda to give to registrants when they sign in. You get to design it, and arrange for printing and distribution!

Feel free to call(321-262-1541) or email me (miniworkshop2008@nsscds.org) with any questions.

    Shirley
