    I think this could be a even longer post. I think any of the pioneers are celebrity cave divers. There are many more if I need to go on.

    Absolutly,I meant someone fairly well known for something other than being a pioneer cavediver.

    I tried real hard to get him at the 08 CDS Workshop.

    Sorta like Harrison Ford and his visits to the OshKosh Flyin every year. Sounds like Tiger is humble about his hobby as is Ford. Ford is quoted in the current issue of the AOPA magazine as stating he feels like a fraud when he's asked to speak to renowned aviators.

    They just want to fly, or dive and be left alone. I like that, shows character and respect for their fellow enthusiasts who have, in many cases, far more experience than they do and they don't want to minimize that by capitalizing on their celebrity for the drive-by media, etc.
