Not on this and a useful number is the Peanut EOL distance from Challenge and Olse. My estimate is that the Peanut EOL is 800' from Challenge and 600' from Olsen.

I did the traverse recently and these were the distances (approximately):
    OG - Challenge: 1800 feet
    Challenge - Olsen: 1400 feet
    Olsen - PI 1400 feet

    swam for about 80mins.

Its been a while since I swam the traverse, but those numbers and times are pretty dang close.

Tim (netmage) and I did the traverse OG to P1 through Peanut last month. We had about 80 min RT before a long safety stop.

I believe the surveyed distances are:
    P-I to Pothole 458'
    Pothole to Olsen 1036"
    Olsen to Challenge 1434'
    = 2928' P-I to Challenge.
I believe O-Grove to Challenge is just shy of 1800'.

Did the swim from O-Grove to P-I a month ago in :70. (approx. 60'/min.)
Did Challenge to P-I Sat. in :42. (approx. 70'/min.), after a very leisurely swim from P-I to Challenge (approx. 40'min.).

If you go by the distance markers, those numbers are bang on.

    A couple of questions:

    a) Anyone know offhand what their depth gauge gave as average depth after doing that traverse?

    b) Has anyone done this not as a traverse, but as an out-and-return?

I think I see a fun dive coming up for my next trip...
