    Default Shearwater help

I have a Shearwater Predator and a Petrel 1 . Hopefully someone can help a rookie out.
    GF 40/85
    Last stop 10 feet
    OC min. ppo2 .18
    Max 1.4
    Deco 1.6
    Did two dives at Ginnie.
    #1 87ft. max depth, 36%, 50 min, no deco
    1 hour surface interval
    #2 94ft, 66 min, 32%, deco
Everything was fine until I switched my computers to deco gas (100%) on the 2nd dive.
Both computers started flashing high ppo2 warnings at 20 feet (1.6)
I cannot figure out what I did wrong. They never did this before. Maybe I changed a setting accidentally I don't know. Do the gasses have to be entered in low to high order? 1st gas 32%, 2nd gas 100% ? I had my 1st gas as 100% and 2nd as 32, that's all I can think of.
    Appreciate any help.

Try moving up a foot or so.

I did move up to 18 feet and it did go down to 1.5 but still flashing high ppo. I never had them do this before so I was concerned.

    https://www.shearwater.com/wp-conten...ons-Manual.pdf

    Page 76.

You set the alarm to go off at 1.4 but to calculate the deco time based on a switch at 1.6.

Not sure what you mean. Did not see anything about the alarm on the link you gave.

    Sorry, page 78.

    OC Max. PPO2
PPO2 displays in flashing red when greater than this value.
    (Default 1.65)
You have it set to 1.4. So when your ppo2 goes over 1.4 it flashes red.

    OC Deco. PPO2
The decompression predictions (TTS and NDL) will assume
that the gas in use at a given depth is the gas with the highest
PPO2 that is less than or equal to this value. Also, the suggested
gas switches (when the current gas is displayed in yellow)
are determined by this value. If you change this value, please
understand its effect. For example, if lowered to 1.50, then oxygen
(99/00) will not be assumed at 20ft/6m. (Default 1.61)
You have this set to 1.6, so it calculates deco times based on switching at 1.6.

Thanks for the help. I knew it had to be something simple. I get it now.
    Appreciate the input.
