    Default Destroyer Bottle for sale

    I have a destroyer air cylinder for sale Diameter 18 inches, length 72 inches. weight approx 1000 lbs Approx 8.4 cf internal volume and at 5000 psi that is about 2800 cf.

    I've seen these at the shops in cc. I always wondered if they ever needed any hydroing or tumbling

    you can't hydro them, no DOT stamps at all. And they're built like the ASME cylinders so they are designed to take a serious amount of rust damage

    That kind of leads to my next question: so do you shops just do a quick visual inspection when they set them up then never do anything with them ever again? I guess they could analyze the gas to find issues.

    We did when we installed our bottles. They looked fine 8-9 years ago when they were installed and we popped them open last year when they had to get moved and they looked fine. Unlikely they'll ever get opened again

    Amazing deal for someone who is looking to either have a shop or run a personal fill station given it's size and volume!
