We both set it up with our Xdeep?s and tried it a few different ways. We ended up not using the pad from kiss. We purchased these brackets awhile back that go around the spine weight pouch and we used those to connect it to the xdeep. It worked great

    Marissa,
can you share more details as to which brackets you used instead of the kiss one?

    Forrest/Marissa/Draker,
how do you feel about access to the pull/butt dump on the xdeep and access to storing spools/etc in the butt area with the sidewinder? any limitations?

I have two sets of those brackets (Ibelieve two). They're really nice but I never ended up using them. If anybody needs them for this use I'd happily get rid of them at the cost I paid. They've never been put on my xdeep or wet.

I have. They both work quite well. I like the Xdeep because it seems like it would be better in low passage. On the other hand, Edd seems to like the Hollis for low passage.

He also used to berate the xdeep as a p.o.s and made jokes about how awful it was when my buddy and I were down there.

Here are those brackets they're using. I just want to get my money back on them, they were $60. Let me know if you're interested, if not somebody else is second in line.

Ok, cool. I understand now why you were calling them brackets.

I was looking for the sewn soft-plate that I bought with my unit. Thanks for showing pics, but this is not something I'd be interested in.
