Every Tuesday at 6:30 there were boats, tools, toys, excitement. Underwater: guys fighting with knives and shooting spear guns at one another. Topside, beautiful women in swimsuits. Stuff a guy find exciting, right?

Perhaps you're right about inaccuracy. So far, I've not seen guys fighting with knives underwater.
Here ya go - I'm the one with the double hose reg.

My idea of a day of fishing at Sliver Springs.

My favorite Sea Hunt episode involved a rebreather. I think it was called "The Black Box of Death". Really.

I do remember that episode. In fact the "black box of death" was simply a black box covering a pair of scuba tanks.

This came to mind. Something kinda inspired by Sea Hunt; from a friend in 1994.

Probably got me interested in diving. Remember my brother & I (back in the 50s) taking a broom handle, putting a nail in in, flattening the head and snorkeling (mask, no fins) on sand bars looking for that BIG trophy. Of course, all we got were crabs (no the kind you eat), lol. Still, started me going under and staying as long as I could. Actually met Mike Nelson (Lloyd Bridges) on an elevator in DC one night. Short ride but what a thrill. You never know what will turn one of us to the "dark side," lol.

Rebreathers are something that we have to go to in order to dive the way we want to dive. They are not something we go to for any other reason.
