Default Cave dive in the Dominican Republic

I am planning a trip to the Dominican Republic. I contacted a dive shop there about cave diving there.
The name of the cave is Cueva Taina. If anybody has information about the cave, I would appreciate it.

Nice system, I liked it quite a bit. DRSS has a cool video on you tube.

Denis Bourret of Golden Arrow is THE guide to contact for cave diving throughout DR and the Caribbean.

We used Uwe Rath and he is close to the caves we dove so short trips each day to the dive sites. Of course there are caves he is not close to

Contact Dennis about that cave, very good and close by also near Santo Domingo.

I?ve dive with Victoria also, she and her team are good also, but farther away.

Just depends on where your staying and what you want to dive.

Cave itself is nice, very beautiful areas to see.

One caution. At the end of the line there is a T of sorts. The line to stay on goes Right, however at 120 + feel your a bit narked in your head and might take the left line, ensure your guide leads you back to main line.

My guide was signaling me to go left and as narked as I was I gave a circle ok with my light and went right.....

It is a fun dive, and you will have a good time with any of the people mentioned here. But why come just for one? Nearby is la roca in a discoteca, and one in a ladies backyard that is nice too.

If you are taking a general vacation there, lots to explore...mountains, desert dunes, rivers, beautiful beaches and in the spring, humpback whales.

The nickname for Brugal rum is "brutal" but leyenda and up is pretty smooth.
