Awesome announcement!! Looking forward to some post workshop fun and hanging out!

Roubidoux Grotto Caving Club and Odyssey Scuba invite the NSS-CDS workshop attendees to an Evening at the Cave on Saturday, October 20 with brews, BBQ and bonfire.

The ?Cave of the Seven Serpents? is a fictitious name of a local cave. The cave was given the name during the 2017 filming of the reality show DARKNESS that premiered on the Discovery Channel last year.

This cave is suitable for beginners as well as the experienced caver. Immediately following the day?s conference program, we?ll convoy to the cave location. Some flashlights, cave helmets/lights will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own. If you have a camp chair, bring it too! This event is free of charge.

The schedule would be something like this:
    Sat, Oct. 20
5:30/5:45- Depart Hampton Inn, convoy to cave.
    Caving from approx. 6:15- 7:15
Brews, BBQ, bon fire till approx. 8:30/9:00 pm

    FRIDAY NIGHT SOCIAL!!

The Friday night social will be at Paradise Pit located in St. Robert. This is a short drive from Roubidoux so those diving Friday there can just head over whenever. Folks will start arriving around 6pm.

GEAR SWAP! Something cool we?re doing this year (suggested by some others attending)we will have a gear swap at the social. The restaurant will close to others at 8pm and then we will have the place to ourselves. So we?re thinking of setting up the gear swap after everyone else leaves. SO BRING YOUR EXTRA GEAR YOU?RE NOT USING! New or used it doesn?t matter! Raise funds to buy more tickets for the raffle!

    LOCATION:

    Paradise Pit
    220 Marshall Dr Ste 8
    St Robert, MO 65584

Another great sponsor for this years workshop!
On Rope 1 has donated some items for us to give away at the raffle! OR1 is a major supplier of caving rope lighting and all things vertical. Many of their items are made in house and I can vouch for a number of their harnesses! They?re top quality in addition to great customer service! Really happy to have them on board this year!

Check out their website for some of your future underground necessities!

Another awesome sponsor jumped on board! Lake City Dive Center has donated to this years workshop. If you're not familiar, its likely because this is a fairly new dive shop conveniently located in the heart of North Florida of Lake City! Mark Fowler is a great fella and they have a top notch shop. Make sure to stop in and say hello when you're in the area!
