    Default SwageLok QC-4

Can anyone tell me their experience with the QC-4 compared to the QC-6?

harder to connect. I moved to QC6 from a standardization perspective. I have not compared throughput. However, i have used a bc inflator to QC6 cheater and tested that....and well it sucked!

I have a bunch of QC4 i need to sell if you are looking.

I've only ever used el cheapo QCs from the power washer aisle at Home Depot. Are the SwageLok's worth the premium? What am I missing out on? (Ironically Swagelok Austin moved to Cedar Park .. about 1/2 mile from my house.)

So far in the last 4 years i've had 3 QC4 male connectors lose their insides out the front (all Swagelok). Ask me why I'm not impressed.

Unfortunatly I started using them on my SF2 where they were standard, when I got a Flex and modified it to an BOB, continuing to use the QC4 system made sense. When I got a XCCR that I modified the hell out of, I wasn't willing to switch away from the QC4 system to something more reliable and don't have the contacts to advise me what is more reliable.
So I'll stay screwed with a system that I don't like and is failure prone.

I've used the QC4s for years for plugging in off board gas with no issues.
