Default Gear rack ideas for bed of trucks ?

I drive a 09 GMC Sierra and want to build a some sort of rack in the back of my truck to hold doubles, other tanks, milk crates, etc...
I've seen some pretty interesting things around cave country so what do y'all recommend ?

This seems to be popular. No need to buy one, just make it yourself with a bit of rope and pool noodles. Cover tanks with wet towel during hot weather.

Take only photos, leave only bubbles, kill only time.

That will work if you only have that few tanks

Doubles and stages laying on bed liner, milk crate to keep computers and regs.
Sliding, locking bed cover to keep the meth heads from stealing it all while you're having bbq.

I made something like this that was removable but it?ll really only hold tanks for the most part. I put everything else up front. It was locked down with cables and my tailgate locked. If someone really wanted to get into it some bolt cutters would have sufficed but it was better than just leaving them out.

We have 2" stainless steel rings around all of our tank necks. If we have tanks in the bed when diving or whatever we run a steel cable through these rings. All of our gear sits in rubbermaid action packers which can also be locked (and a cable passed through the locks). The action packers are only plastic should the locks could be busted off, but really no matter what you do, you are only keeping honest people honest. Goal is to not be the easiest target, and so far this has accomplished that.
