Does anyone know who was using green tape for their dorf markers?

I figured he was making a joke but I've been so busy lately I wouldn't even have the time to figure it out. Plus, as far as I know, there is no "deep" section in Lafayette Blue.
Yea, working too much without down time or rest can wreak havoc on fact errors, etc. I'll try to do better but my real busy work season is just about to get under way....
Thanks though Forrest for pointing this out as I likely would have never realized.

So on the dorf markers I guess the adhesive on the duct tape is not effected by being underwater. Did people just bring a roll of duct tape with them or did they precut strips? Just curious as that was before my time.
Back in the 70's when many of us were exploring new cave we would pre-cut triangles from duct tape and stick them on the back of our mapping slates. As we laid line we would peel off a triangle of duct tape and wrap it around the line so that it was pointing the way out. Here's some photos of the front and back of one of my old mapping slates depicting how we would put the dorf markers on the back.

For those interested in a little history of the dorf marker, they were created by Lewis Holtzendorf and Court Smith, both from Valdosta, GA. Hence the name "dorf marker" from Lewis' last name.
