    Default 03/09/2018 Telford Conditions

The river has been dropping by Telford. The water level is a wee bit below the land bridge and a solid boil on the surface.

With the increased flow, the visibility is down. Id say 20-30' at most. on exit, it was in the 10-15' range.

Flow past ripple canyon / september room is pretty good and viz a little better. closer to aardvark, there's mixing of 2 water sources, one colder, one warmer.

Scootering the suwanee is slow going, had to go full bore in a few spots on the xk1.

    Thanks for the report

With the river still dropping, I would suspect it is still good, but flowing fairly hard.

I don't know if you can get this stuff anywhere South of the border, but it has saved more dives for me than I can count. It's always part of my 'Save a Dive kit'. YMMV

Nice short dive here on Saturday. Flow was strong. Vis was better than expected. I would say around 30-40' past the sinks, but seemed to degrade past the Rifts which is where we turned.

Do a lot of folks scooter this cave? I must say frog kicking through the mud flats against the flow, just about kicked my butt. At least in at Ginnie and LR, you can get out of the flow or grab the occasional pull. Sections of this cave are all flow-in-face finning.

I swam it a ton of times back when there was land access, now I scooter up the river...
