I left an O2 bottle tucked behind that rock that we all like to stop at coming out of the eye right by the end of the gold line for about two weeks maybe a little more. I was diving CCR and this was as I was taught my back up deco gas so it was there but not used at all by me or my buddies during our trip. Anyway, somebody found it and clipped it to the line maybe a little gas was used but no biggie other than somebody touching and moving another divers life support equipment. So in my moment of disbelief that someone would mess with another diver's life support equipment I decided it may be prudent to remove the bottle and restow it day by day rather than leave it for the entire trip. While picking up my bottle I noticed that it was pretty slimey and covered in a very fine layer of algae, I'm glad that I didn't need to put the reg in my mouth but it made me wonder what the state of the bottles were when left in the system for much longer like the bottles regularly left back by the Henkel in those days. anyway.... YUCK!

Well reports are the pond came way up today and JB has reversed up to the 1st breakdown. I am sure HITW is blown and sucked the 57 deg pond water farther in. Twin is probably your best bet on the pond for the next few days. If you have a boat Ebro should be really good.

Draker would say this post is useless without pics. Laurent was trying out his new camera. First cave shots with it.

I thought that was going to turn out to be a joke, like it would show a little sand picked up off the floor as the JB version of "blown". I have never seen JB even remotely like that before, and I don't recall ever hearing of it reversing.

It did this back in '09 or so. They had about 10" of rain in 1 day. The pond couldn't drain quick enough. In a few days it will be okay but I am sure the flow will be kicking once the pond drops back down. Here is video of that.

My guess is that it has helium in it. Ben M was leaving a bottle in there around New Year's.
