    Default Cave lighting for video

I'm having some issues with cave lighting, and I thought I'd see if any experts have ideas. I'm filming with a GoPro. I've found this problem with a 4 and a 5, using ProTune and not.

I have a pair of lights, which I typically angle to create a triangle without light directly in front of the camera, to avoid backscatter. The problem is that where the lights overlap creates odd colors.

This may be a white-balancing issue. But even if it is, I'm not sure what to do about it.

    Any thoughts?

What lights are you using, and are they same model and age?

Thanks for asking. The problem happens with identical-age and power BigBlue lights—7500LM and 15000LM.

A flood will do you much better results.

I've used just one of the larger lights with ok results. But it limits the frame. I'm hoping not to have to buy new lights.

Are your lights video lights or focused lights?

One pair has a 120-degree beam; the other 160. The 160-degree beam *almost* fills the GoPro (medium) frame.

Well it's not the degree of the beam. Can you show us a recent clip?

I mounted two iTorch lights on my helmet, with overlapping beams. Does not throw alot of light, but does fill in the spots in the foreground that are not lit by the divers primary lights.

Here are some frame captures that show the unexpected color changes in the center of the frame.
