Wow...I never heard that story. Bastards.

I must confess: It's all true indeed. I don't have the experience of y'all. In my boredom, I came up with this crazy idea that I could pose as a real cave diver on forums and pretend to know much about it, when in reality I am just another misguided cyber-diver. I am glad that the real experts here set me straight and you got a good laugh out of my bone headed rambles. Forgive me for having wasted your time.

Cool Create a New Specialty License Plate

I was searching for a replacement specialty Vehicle tag and come across this web site: http://www.flhsmv.gov/specialtytags/SLP.html#1
Why not create a specialty vehicle tag for Cave/Tech & mixed gas or deep diving to be displayed on your tag ? such as:
    http://www.flhsmv.gov/dmv/specialtyt...ine_corps.html
Displaying the tag's owner's certs as registered on their training certificates !
Then the local or regional authoritys would have no questions as to who is diving a restricted site !
    Just a thought !

Until they bring in unqualified divers or someone borrows their car.

Restricting police pursuits because "you can just run the tag and catch the owner at home" doesn't work for the same reason - someone's name on the tag is not a guarantee they're the driver/diver/current occupant.

And the local instructors get their panties in a wad and make sure the out of country instructors get in trouble and can't come poach their students anymore (if that was actually even happening to begin with).
