Mine is here. Anyone know what the small jumper wire is for?

My gate doesn't even open completely.... so I doubt there was much testing prior to packaging.

That is mostly because the handle is offset from the spring. It can't help but cause the gate to skew, and jam.

So, Forrest, you moved my review post, and broke the link. I am going to repost it to the main Forum, please don't move it. It probably deserves to be a separate thread.

Andy, how did yours work for you? Oops, time disconnect. Interested to hear if you have better luck, Andy.

I'd just like something submersible to 400' that has a backlit display with a digital compass reading and depth in decimal feet and a nice straight edge on both sides.

Default Questionable use of the wifes Perdix

Some thick plastic board, a couple of brass rods and screws and a wife who wasn't paying attention to her Perdix.

I really wanted to test a shearwater compass with this batch, but we didn't have one available. I have done anecdotal testing with a nerd and had good results, I suspect all of the shearwaters will be in the 2-3 degree accuracy range.
