The same to you Rod! We'll miss you in Florida - we'll be headed home on the last Thursday in October. Say Hi to Bill & Spotty for us. We were just telling another friend the story of your being attacked by fierce geese at Little River.

When I close my eyes there is a cave dive to help me through the grind!
When I really struggle I think of all my friends who share this life and choose to be happy a mist all the poo!
Then sometimes I take a nap and dream of diving! Not kidding.......it helps!
When I think of my friends in AL, GA, TENN.,FL, etc. I always smile!

Even when its been really pooy!
It is only a blink away....... !

As long as you don't take a nap while you are diving

I usually replay my dive that night while going to sleep. It's better than counting sheep!
Also, I've seen divers napping while in a pool during a shoot. (And they admitted to it.)

It was raining all weekend (bad). It kept crowds off blue playgrounds (good). Which made possible to get wet in all 4 springs of Gilchrist Blue SP, visit Sherwood split lines and even do some extra ridgewalk.

Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Living up north, I only get to do "quality" diving (OW and cave) when on vacations. And of course, vacations have to be planned months in advance.

Broke my back in 1980, and have been living with intermittent backaches since then. The back injury can spring back up overnite, and is a firm believer in Murphy's Law.

And wouldn't you know it, my back has been acting up for the past TWO vacation dive trips in a row. I'm really looking forward to being able to dive, and not be stuck in the tropics on crutches with a handful of muscle relaxants.

    Will try again in April...

Take only photos, leave only bubbles, kill only time.
