Ok, Now I remember the Movie and the song.
Guys that movie is very hard !!! lol
We kid about local customs and the way the college kids act at Ginnie Springs (it's the only spring locally that's privately owned, so folks can drink alcohol)....but the reality is that most people here are super nice and friendly, certainly more pleasant than in california where folks will look at you like a lunatic if you talk to them in the check out line.
I'd just be sure to bring a mat to keep the sand/dirt out of your car, there are plenty of folks renting houses in cave country, and print out this map, it's great for finding your way around the area
Did you see any critters in that cave? StygoBites.com
That ginnie clip is classic

You can check out my web site at http://www.diversrental.net to view pictures and prices. I'm close to Little River Springs, Peacock Springs, and Troy Springs. Also, Amigo's Dive Center is only 25 min away.
Please check out my place Château H2O

I usually fly into Jacksonville and rent a car there, only because it is a straight flight from Vegas.
I like the http://www.hydrolodge.com/phototour.html for Lodging because it is close to High Springs and Gainsville and only an hour or less to Peacock, Cow, Ginnie, and Little River.
Good luck and practise your pig sqweeling.
