    Default SM light cord routing

Do any of you SM divers route your light cord up your spine and over the left or right shoulder?

I route mine under my right arm and up my left arm or to my helmet.

Under the left armpit to my left hand. It's whichever flavor suits you really.

I've always routed mine under my right arm as well, but I've been thinking about routing it over my back and just wondered if anyone else did this. Assuming it is tucked neatly, what would be the down side?

my cord is not long enough to go over my shoulder comfortably. i can get my hand where i want it that way.

Mine comes around my left thigh, under my waist strap, then under my chest strap. I do have a longer cord on all my lights so I can hang the light lower to keep it at a lower profile. The only issue I see with routing it up your back is possible entanglement where it will be exposed over your shoulder, or even having the cord cut. Before I got the longer cords on my lights I had my canister mounted higher and I busted the light going through a tight restriction. I think the cord scraped against the ceiling of the restriction and shorted the light out.

My canister is butt mounted and I lace the light head/cord inside the harness in front of my wing. Stays concealed/ hidden by my body, works great on helmet on in my hand.

Mine routes down my right thigh, wraps around my ankle, then up and over my left shoulder.

    O....

    You said "light cord"....nevermind....

Butt mounted I run the cord over my rigt hip and clip it to my left upper d ring till my right tank is connected. Then I put it on my right hand, no added cord length required.
