ps. These lights are seriously nice!
Yes the pcm balances & has full protection including low voltage cut off that is set at a safe limit. We have not tested a watts up recorder so we can't comment on how it might affect the control components.

Sorry just reread your post. No issues measuring battery charge.

BTW since we have had requests for stickers we are guessing that some have not read the manual. Each manual has a sticker under the cover page.

Bobby can you say what voltage the LVC is set to? And does it shut the light down or is there a period of reduced light output prior to cutting off?

I will have to dig up the design spec for the cut off voltage. The light does not reduce power before it cuts off. We found while testing the prototypes that adding that type of feature reduced reliability.

While your looking is it possible to find out at what voltage is charge terminated?

Tested the 26 watt light at REACT from CE.
    The switch was awesome!
Very easy to use and experimented with the 50% / 100% it was amazing to put it up against the 21 watt HID and the 12 watt LED LM.
I think you are going to do very well Bobby.
If there is one negative for those who have not tried the light out it would be the initial cost / price.
For those of us who have tested it well we were sold before we hit our turn pressure!

I've just finished a trip to Peacock using the 26 watt light, and it's an amazing system. On full power I was seeing things in the cave I'd been missing for years, and switching to both low and medium power turned out to be really useful, not a gimmick. There were a few sections with so much particulate in the water causing backscatter that I really did see better on medium than full power, and I used low a lot when other teams passed us; I think I could have blinded someone being careless with where the light was pointing on full. My buddy commented after a few of the dives that he felt like he could have turned his light off; mine was more than enough for both of us.
I got more good news when I got back from the trip and contacted Bobby about a problem; I dropped a tank on the plastic clip that holds the head to the handle. It was totally my fault, so I asked how much a new clip runs. He replied in less than a day that all he needed was my address - the warranty covered it.
A good light and good service. I'm feeling really good about this purchase.
