Hmm, just spoke with Matt. What the OP didn't mention is Matt originally sent him a set of plates and the OP didn't receive them (happens). Matt offered to refund his money but the guy wanted another set (pertinent information he happened to leave out). So he sent him the other set (or so I am told). The guy freaks out when he doesn't reply right away and comes on the forum complaining. Matt was on vacation, so I am thinking something smells funny about all this. I have dealt with Matt before and this isn't like him.

When a guy does not even respond to tell me he sent the other set then his email is dead and friends of his try and get a hold of him too and failed, u tell me what am I supposed to think!
If the plates ever do come I will gladly pay him for them! But this has been going on since August! I waited over three weeks before telling Matt that I didn't get the plates!
Another guy on here from Canada went through the same problem with him..
So I do not think I acted irrationally

A) Don't you think that was something you should've stated right off the bat? That he was willing to ship you another set of plates at his cost, instead of vilifying him right away.
B) Do you ever think the Canadian postal system just sucks? It has taken 2 months for me to get a simple package from Canada before. That wasn't the only time I had problems getting stuff or sending things to Canada. Yet I get stuff from Japan, Europe, etc in a few days......

I have been following this closely - at least I THOUGHT I was. I never realized shipping to Canada was involved.

I've had such problems, I feel like posting, "No shipping to Canada" on my eBay listings.
