I want to see the display, it's not OLED, but LCD. Display is the biggest attraction for me to my Predator.

It looks good on the web site, but yes, I cooled my jets as soon as i saw that.

And the form factor is nice, but not that much smaller - not enough to spend 2K replacing the two predators I already have. I do like the AA battery though...but I suppose that's an upside of the LCD display.

I like it because it's everything the predator is and cheaper. Oh, and since I started CCR, I need a constant ppo2 computer.
    That's what I got an X-Link for

I too want to see the new screen..I do love the oled on my predator. Shearwater, are you offering any sort of trade in program for current predator users? I got mine last month.

Any plans to offer a hoseless transmitter feature?

I'm wondering with all the rush to sidemount, when the two transmitter idea will become mainstream. I know Oceanic makes one, but I want one in a Tech format that can do Trimix. Hoping to get through that training in the next year or so.

I agree. I believe a simple setting of "Sidemount = yes" and then gas = T1 + T2. Punching a button at every switch is dumb.

It could be made to switch automatically. When T1 changes by x psi, then it becomes the active tank on the screen and maybe T2 becomes a small number in the corner. I'd like to know what each tank has in it so I know when to switch regs. You could do the manual switch to go to stage or deco bottles and those would have regular analog guages. Then you could have the option to buy 2 and have them "mirror" each other so that if one fails, the other knows where the tanks and dive stats are at any given time. Have them setup as slave and master and talk throughout the dive. Hmmm. This is actually doable. Everyone ignore this while I vet this idea with some investors. LOL

Now if we could figure out how to have them make Sludge a sandwich, we could really market this.

The problem with having the transmitters as the active part is that you have to redesign the system / transmitters.

If you made a simple software change, it would be a couple of lines of code and could be done PDQ.
