Has anyone been to Eagles nest since the storm? Wondering what conditions are like.

A friend of mine dove yesterday and said he had 35' up to the super room.

The rain here seems to have slowed a bit. Any more recent updates?

How about the roads? I was there a few weeks ago, while it was raining, and it was more of an adventure getting in/out of the place... than diving... even with my big van...

Paul H. was headed there with a normoxic and hypoxic trimix student the other day (Tuesday and Wednesday). He should have recent information.

Was there this weekend. Roads are in great shape, Mosquitos horrendous and vis wasn't 20 feet. All sorts of nastiness and tannic water.
I'm from the government and I'm here to help.

I was there also this weekend and it was black and nasty... more like 5 - 10 ft vis. Not worth it.

Took a drive to check it out today. Nice and dark 5-10 foot still. Didn't even bother to get in the water. A few weeks ago I went like 4-6 days after the storm and it was some of the best viz I had seen in a while. Natural light illuminating rocks at like 150 if you had the right angle. But today horrible.
