WTB: 2 40cf Luxfer AL Tanks

I'm looking for one or two 40cf Luxfer aluminum tanks with 300 bar DIN valves. I'd prefer tanks still in hydro and brushed aluminum but those aren't deal breakers. If you're selling any, please send an email to: dave_meade@yahoo.com

Pardon a bit of a detour . . . why would someone want 300 bar valves on an aluminum tank?

I know this doesn't sound right, but 300 BAR valves won't hold more pressure than 200 BAR valves. They are deeper is all, more threads, but not stronger, some believe that because your reg screws into a 300 BAR valve deeper, that it is more protected

ok. In that case I will take a 200 or 300 bar valve.

I put 300 bar valves on all my AL stage/deco cylinders. For no other reason than to keep my brother from putting a 200bar 'donut' insert in them and using them.
