When investigating fatal accidents, the most common last words by the victim are: "Watch this!"

Down South it's "Hold my beer, watch this"

It was in jest, but I left the emoticon thing off to see who would rise to the occasion, but I think you and a couple of others let the cat out of the bag.

But who wants to go diving with a wet t-shirt in a perfectly dry dry suit?
Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

This may come as a complete shock, but you aren't one of the envisioned contestants.

This is about planning and budgeting. Every trip to cave country is going to cost $1k in travel expenses, so I want to plan a week at a time and dive as much as I can when there.

Just for a planning number, I'm thinking two dives per day, plus a short solo dive learning the cave, doing line runs, and drills that are boring to most but essential to me. So, I expect 15 dives at (hopefully) an hour each . . . (remember I am on 6ths).

So, would 40+ dives be a good planning number? That's three one-week trips, with a fourth week being the next level of training? (instructor preview, of course!)
At the end of the day its your life and you need to take responsibility for the decisions YOU make.......

I'm a HUGE fan of solo diving in all of its forms deep, cave, wreck, etc......but again I was certified when I was 8 years old when education was dodgy at best, to be honest I didn't get my full cave (and CCR at that) until January 2012.......

I would base your decisions on the following:

    1) What am I comfortable with?

    2) What can I successfully complete?

    3) Do I have a Family?

    4) If I kill myself who will be effected and how?

    5) Do they know the risks?

    6) Can I insure there future wellbeing if I die?

These are tough questions and there are a lot of people that beat me up for even bringing this up but I think this is what you need to ask yourself......
