I can service a Poseidon in my sleep. If I need a tool, I just make it, nothing special about any of it. But then, I build my own rebreathers, and airplanes too

in the uk cyklons are the reg of choice for sidemount diving. i have used apeks regs for 2 years in uk caves but just bought steel bodied cyklons as they are more suitable to the enviroment i dive in. i think most of the fellas in my section use cyklons for sidemount and they take them in to some grim conditions in the pursuit of cave exploration.
as for servicing i had mine done by poseidon uk as the poseidon service tech in a dive shop told me to when he remembred i dived in an overhead enviroment !!!!!!

Forrest is completely wrong! Poseidons are a POS reg that are impossible to rebuild. Do yourself a favor and send them to me to dispose of them for you. I will see to it that they receive a proper burial!

Umm yes you need a spanner wrench for them, unless you want to gar them with a monkey wrench.

I have the after market adapter with the opv from Northeast Scuba Supply: http://northeastscubasupply.com/stor...prod_1908.html I like it a lot better than using an OPV. not that costly at $44.99....

I bought a set and really like them. Putting them on was another story. They had burrs on the threads and did not want to start on the reg.
I was scared one would strip the thread as it was peeling off the plastic. Went to the shop and polished down the burrs and relieved the first two
or three threads and they went on smoothly.
Gauge says 4300 PSI??? That's what I call Doin' It Right!
