    :arrowblack Tomas Morato, RIP

Tom Morato passed away in his dive shop yesterday. He was an active caver, cave diver, mentor and instructor to many in the Philippines. I had the privilege of spending time with him on a visit to Florida a few years ago. We had a great time.

His shop was the Diver's Network located at Quezon City, Manila, Philippines.

    Really sad news indeed...

It was a brief conversation with Tom over hot coffee, on an early morning, a few years ago that finally convinced me to give sidemount a more serious consideration. We ended up taking the same course and had a lot of fun doing so...

Thank you Tom! Rest in Peace!
