    Default cenote Calimba video

It was a rainy and a bit chilly March day in Tulum. But down in the cave was nice and warm.

As always, you're camera work and editing are great. However, since you are posting it on an open forum, I hope that you are open to criticism.
On you're vimeo site, you state that this is their first dive in sidemount. THEY SHOULD NOT BE HERE!
Calimba is a beautiful cave with lots of delicate formations. Practice in open water or one of the training caves like Ponderosa. It annoys me to watch these videos and see how many times they "pull and glide" on delicate formations. I shudder to think what they are doing in the unedited footage. If you look around the 4:50 mark, the diver even seems to broken one off the floor. Tsk! Tsk! I've dove this cave many times, and there is no flow to fight against, so it's not necessary to pull yourself along on the formations.

There a few areas with interesting geometry problems where planting a finger on a solid and "been used before" formation may be preferable to using your fins to maneuver - but in general I agree there is no need for pulling and using your way through the dive.

What bothered me a lot more were some of the video shots where the videographer was clearly well off the line. With the extensive ceiling formations there, getting off the line greatly increases the risk of damaging the cave - even just from exhaust bubbles.

    This video saddend me deeply
As I selfishly think of myself freezing my butt off in Maine
    as it is snowing today
Having been on this dive a few times..
    When I see others enjoying..while I can't
My question..How can it really be all about me?
    I again am saddened..

    Great Job on the footage..however!!

The gentlemanly thing for you to do
    MR. PACO
Would be to have Skorpiov and myself be the "stars"
    of your next VIDEO!!
Cause really..I think we would like it to be all about us...and you of course...
It's not nice to taunt us that way...
