Default Compass error while trying to export plot to kml

I can get the map to plot out from my original .dat file.

I'm jacking something up whenever I create the .max file however, and I can't get it to open up in the plotter.

    I get this error:

    Compiling File: kmlCassidyOriginal.mak
    -----------------------------------
    Make Subfile: Cassidy.DAT
    Shots With No Tie In:
    O1-O2
    O2-O3
    O3-O4
    O4-O5
    O5-O6
    O6-O7
    O7-O8
    O8-O9
    O9-O10
    O10-O11

    Any help?

I just downloaded this thing yesterday, so I'm very new to working my way around it.

What does it mean not "tied in"? It seems to be tied in for the .dat file.

Does it all export to KML?

If it doesn't I'm not interested.... for my maps, I hand-draw them. I think they come out much better that way. I'm just using the software to overlay on Google Earth.

My biggest issue now is not getting everything to overlay on Google Earth... Its just to get it to overlay where I want it on Google Earth, my cave map keeps ending up in the Pacific Ocean.

Alright, I'm waiting for the instructions on how to overlay...

So, you've been diving the Pacific lately, have you?

I was looking at GE with someone at work the other day. We wound up in the Pacific, too. I can't for the life of me remember who it was--the only likely candidate denies any knowledge.

You didn't swap lat and lon? You put "-" for the lon for the Western Hemisphere (or "W," of course).
