Default IANTD quality and acceptance of their certs?

I am looking to get some technical and cave related certs. That being said I am looking at some local instructor and some not local I have noticed a couple of people who are iantd instructors. There certifications are pretty confusing to me with a ton of levels compared to TDI which is what my local dive shop offers as there technical certs. That being said what are the general acceptance of IANTD certs in the technical and cave commmunity?

Have never had a problem with them and anywhere in cave country will accept Iantd.

IANTD is widely accepted. I have never seen anywhere that does not accept them. Of course, I have not been everywhere either.

Wait till you get the manuals... Are you taking diving or trying to meditate your way to becoming one with the ocean?
Ever surprised by the amount of holes involved in cave diving.

Well, I hate to say it, BUT all y'all are wrong insofar as a cave diving certification goes. As of this writing, if you ever want to dive either Diepolder 2 or 3, the ONLY certifications recognized by the Florida Speleological Researchers bunch is training thru either CDS or NACD.

Technically, so does Jackson County. They were talking about adding the others, but it would take a change in the county ordinance. I don't know if that has happened yet.
