Default Cavern / natural light shots

Hi, my wife and I are cavern (getting ready to start on cave this year) certed, so we stick to the light zone... thought I would share a photo or two from the caverns... taken at JB & Ginnie.

I just get red x's. Might be a firewall issue though.

On a related note though, I usually find that cavern photos are some of the most beautiful photos when done right. Something about the natural light streaming in usually makes them amazing.

I really like the first one! Do you know who the diver is?

Thanks for your kind words. I do indeed know the diver, it's my wife, she was kind enough to model for me, swimming around, in and out of the opening. I was shooting down about the first ledge, there's some breakdown then it drops off about 5 or so feet, that's where I was. She was modeling for me. We were doing doing some overhead training in our sidemount rigs in the cavern zone before we start in with our intro class, she's wearing a Nomad EXP rigged by Edd with the inflator switch-out he does & a couple of HP100's. Need to figure out how to stop the very top of the wing from bulging up like that on her...

The first shot was taken with a D300 in an Ikelite case with a 35mm f 1.8 AFS, the other two were with a point & shoot.

Here's the wife a bit more closely (giving me the "are we done yet I want to DIVE" look) in the millpond at JB:

Cinch down the bungees on the front of the wing. Should take care of it.

Nice pictures BTW. You really can tell the difference in light sensitivity between the D300 and the small frame point and shoot.
