    Default liquivison xeo

is the liquivision xeo good? Has anyone used one, i was going to get a nitek q but the wait was so long i did not order one, then my friend eric got one and it died in less than 10 dives so i am a bit sceptical now and i live in the DR and sending stuff back via fedex for repairs is expensive and a real hassle so i am looking at different options now.
I do not need a super high end model like the x1 but i really
LIke and actually kind of need the high readbillity of the oleds.
The xeo looks like a good big screen simpler version of the x1.

    Thanks

I just got one 2 weeks ago. I have only used it twice but so far I find it to be very user friendly. The oled screen is very easy to see. My dive buddy said he could see it from 8-10 feet away on the low setting. He is now looking at them. I find the tap system very easy to use as well. Overall I am extremely happy with mine.

Phillip, I am IMPRESSED with the unit. I am going to write a review about it soon. I have dove it with a fixed set point along side my X1 and recently in Texas on OC.

Customer service with Liquivision is about the best I have seen. I had to replace my #124 unit about a year ago. The new unit was on my doorstep at 9AM the next morning and I was able to send the old unit back normal post.

    Phillip,
Some of the first batch of Xeo's (maybe Xen as well?) had a flooding issue due to the battery compartment cap being over-tightened. I had this happen early on with one of mine and Liquivision sent me the newer version right away. They have strengthened the case in that area and all of the ones being sold now should come this way. Also, they now accept larger capacity batteries as well as the rechargeable lithium batts.. I would contact whoever you may potentially buy it from and make sure you are getting the latest version that accommodates more than one battery type. That being said, my Xeo can only use the standard battery and it lasts plenty long enough for me to feel fine replacing the batteries every 40 or so hours..
