You could spend some hard earned $$ in a basic sidemount course there. Nothing is better than a good training to sort everything out on the frist go and 'look' as if you had hundreds of sidemount dives at the end of the course.

    My 2 cents

Well, for me to get a sidemount course here, it would cost WAY more then I am willing to spend. Either that or the instructor would really just want to do it out of the goodness of their heart and want a chance to dive in Cuba. LOL.

I plan on taking a course when I get home. Right now I don't think I am doing that bad. I could be wrong though. I know it is going to be much different diving steel dry then diving AL wet, so a course will be great. At the moment I am having fun figuring it out myself with the help of the wonderful people of the CDF!

Thanks Jason. It is fun here. I just did a night dive that I should have ran a line! Vis with my HID was still only two feet and the swells were horrible. Fun stuff.

LOL. Swells, not smells! The waves on the surface were horrible, as was the surge underwater. One of the guys actually got sea sick underwater.

I think the Slipstreams are stiffer than the DiveRite fins. I feel like I can get more push with them.

The foot pocket in the Slipstreams is shaped better than the Jets too.

Thanks for the insight. How does the sizing compare between the two?
