What size bungee is being used for the connections?

I'd prefer the tank neck to be slightly lower than the butt of the tank (a couple of inches)... a little better for streamlining.

Hope that makes it clearer. I'm thinking that there may need to be less line between the bolt snap and the tank for the bottom attachments for the tanks...nearly touching maybe?
How does keeping the neck 2 inches lower than the butt make for better streamlining?

To get the cylinder higher you'll need to shorten the leashes and get a different type of bungee than what comes with the rig. Try using loops instead of bungee with connections on both sides. It will hold the valves up much closer than you can get them any other way.

Thank you to all in this thread who suggested it.
I may try this (albeit with a much heavier bungee). I would think it will reduce the pressure on my hips and possibly make it easier to attach to my buttplate.

I agree. Exactly what I have found.

I used a pretty thick bungee for mine, and double looped it. Bungee is hard to get down here, so I bought a pack of bungee cords and cut one up to make it. I had some thinner bungee but was worried about to much play in the tanks that way. With this I put a couple fingers in the loop, push the tank away from my body, and grab the bolt snap with my thumb and pointer finger. Works for me.

Now I want to try out a loop bungee setup for the valves. I have tried continuous, which I did not like, and now the ring bungees, which I do like. However, everyone is saying that the loops are pretty much the bee's knees. Gotta try it.
