I've done the RC thing before, mostly helicopters. It's a completely different thing, we pulled HUGE loads out of the batteries in a very short time and charged them insanely fast compared to scooter batteries. I wouldn't want to treat a battery the size of a scooter battery anything like an RC battery, I don't think it could take the heat. I do know if you pull a NIMH battery or a Nicad down too low it can reverse charge on you, be careful you don't pull it down too far.

What I was talking about was to wake io a pack that flat. A64pilot your right a battery pack in the hands of a Rc car race is a death sentances 30 to 50 amp discharge depending on the turns of your motor.

I was just sugesting something to try if the battery was already on the way out.

I've had three brand new N19 batteries and never gotten more than 65 minutes out of one on the burn tester (to 20.0V)
