I am new to the cave diving world and I am looking for some pointers to some of the common tools that most carry. I carry all the normal lights, arrows, reels, and such but what are the lil things that dont get taught in class?

Duct tape and bug spray are the 2 most important items in my tool box.
It is often nice to have a spare double ender on you when diving.
I got that stuff, trust me bug spray comes in handy in FL. Im refering more to equip. on my gear or in my pockets.
If you haven't already bought a backplate/wing strongly consider going sidemount from the begining, I wish I did. Also, If you can wait on buying reels, wait until after you get a chance to use a few different types. Your instructor should have a few styles you can try out. Also, Don't just go out and buy the biggest tanks you can. Sometimes less is a lot more
Thanks, I havent got any tanks yet. Im trying different sizes like you said. I have a Dive Rite back mount right now, but I am looking to get a Nomad. I have reels and things.
A spare mask comes in handy.
Life is a series of experiences. One after another. Then you die. How cool are your experiences?
I carry a few zipties, a small multi tool that has two screwdrivers and a small pair or pliers, and on multi stage dives I carry an adjustable wrench.
I second pfcAJ Medium size crescent wrench in the thigh pocket. Comes in more handy than you think.
