This thread has been very helpful.
How do you run the long hose and stage rigging when you add a second deco bottle in this configuration? It seems like the right side deco bottle will interfere with long hose deployment.
The same as you would route the long hose without a stage. Unless you are diving mixed team why use a long hose may I ask?

Well I do dive mixed team (or at least I'm planning to), but mixed team or not I need to be in a position to donate gas and the stage seems like its going to interfere. Is there no solution, we just accept it and move the stage when we donate?
Mixed team it is mandatory you are 100% correct.
Why would the stage get in the way? I run my long hose like Steve does and I can deploy the long hose if needed, yes it would be a bit more of a hassle carrying 2 stages to deploy the long hose but it does no get in the actual way of deploying, but in a situation like that would it not be easier as the ooa diver to just switch to a stage and exit.
I am assuming you are talking about a dive with 2 stages and the long hose is on the right tank right?.
In the case of a dive with 2 stages, how is someone going to loose all the air and actually need to share with the stages still with you? I mean if I am in BM and I loose all my backgas, either I am, at the point were I already dropped all my stages and we are now swimming with just back and side gas, the stage does not get in the way since we alady dropped them, we swim back to the stages I get my stage, you store the long hose I start breathing off my stage and we swim to the next stage, staying close, touch contact etc.. This would be faster and way more efficiant than actuall gas sharing and picking up stages.
In the case of a total backgas loss when I have my stages, I just switch to my stages and we exit, again close, etc.. No need to deploy long hose and share.

When you say the second stage doesn't get in the way of deploying the long hose --- how do you have it routed???
For me, the long hose routes along the chest and around the head. And when I add the second deco bottle, since it's closer-in than the right sidemount bottle, it effectively traps the long hose from fully deploying. I accept that you (and Steve) have a better way -- what is it???
I put th stage on and the last thing I do is take out the length needed for the long hose and also pass it from right to left and arou d my neck. The stage does get in the way but it does not trap the long hose.
My s side gas and stage are both clipped to the back drings and the stage is always clipEd to the back dring.

I was thinking about doing it that way.
But what if you remove and replace the stage?
