Trilobyte's fit really well on your mask strap

    Left wrist
    Right shoulder
    waist
    and just above but d-ring.

I figure i can reach one in any position like this.

Although the past few months they are very easy to reach. I simply open up my foot locker and grab them.

I bought a couple of the Benchmade line cutters off Ebay really cheap! They rock... Now I have one on my left shoulder, one on left wrist, a 3" titanium Wenoka blunt tip on my sidemount inflator, and an older Z-Knife on my thigh pocket.

I have to say the Benchmade cutters are impressive. I took one and did some cuts on some HD 3/8" bungee and 3/8" camp cord, and Heavy Duty 2" Webbing. No pressure required. It cuts like butter. And it can be sharpened if you need to. Definitely my favorite.

The Army issues us Benchmade cutters. They are great.
Life is a series of experiences. One after another. Then you die. How cool are your experiences?

Love them. I keep one on my light head at all times. It does not interfere with laying line and is really easy to get to. Diving local here I use it constantly for fishing line.

Here's a challenge to all: Try your cutter on materials you would need to cut in a real dive situation. I took my previous single cutting device and did some test cuts with it as a comparison. I was really surprised to find that I had trouble getting 3/8" bungee and rope into the cutting blade. I had to put lots of force on the thing to get the balde to and then through the material. It cut webbing ok, but again with a lot of force required, ie several serious tugs.

Verify its fit for your purpose so you don't get surprised in an emergency situation.

Check it to be sure its sharp. if not buy new blades or replace it.

We all check our guages, valves, o-rings, wings, hoses, etc. But have you ever actually used your cutter? You'r cheap cutter may not be worth a nickel if its dull or wont fit around the materials you need to cut.
